With four decades of experience, Murry Englard, CPA uses his expertise to identify avenues to better service his clients through his work in taxes and accounting. He currently serves as the Managing Partner of Englard CPA, P.C. in Nassau County, NY. The firm specializes in companies within the service, real estate, wholesale, manufacturing, freight-forwarding, import-export industries as well as not for profit organizations.

Based in New York, New York, Murry Englard, CPA’s experience in finance began in the 1980s when he took a position with Lawrence Heimowitz & Company, CPA P.C. as an Accountant. He worked in this capacity for several years, building experience and learning the industry ins and outs. Then, in 1985, he decided to branch out on his own, founding his firm, Englard & Company. Here, he worked as Partner before changing the name to Englard CPA, P.C. in 1992 and assuming the role of Managing Partner.

After a few years, Murry Englard, CPA joined the firm of Harlib & Grossman CPA, creating Harlib, Grossman & Englard, CPA’s, where he worked as Partner from 1996 to 2008. Since 2009, when both Harlib and Grossman retired from accounting, Murry Englard, CPA has been the Managing Partner at Englard CPA, P.C.

As a tax professional, Murry’s work is expansive, covering many different responsibilities. His day-to-day includes auditing prospective acquisitions of various companies, corporate financing, formulation of corporate tax structures, financial analysis, and representation of clients at tax audits and tax appeals, among others.

With extensive knowledge of taxes, Murry is able to provide his services on a much more personal level compared to other industry giants. Because of the small-firm approach he utilizes, he actually gets to know his clients and guide them throughout the process, rather than passing them off to another staff member or brushing them off into a corner. Murry sets himself apart through his involvement in every step of the process and his commitment to finding the best solutions for his clients.

Murry Englard attended Queens College, the City University of New York where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Information Systems. He then went on to study at Bernard Baruch College of the City of New York for graduate school where he earned credits in finance and taxation. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Murry also as a passion for helping others. He is an active member of Beis Midrash of Queens, an educational organization private school. The organization is dedicated to spreading education and charity throughout the world. Additionally, they partner internationally with the organizations Michol and Ulpont Ophra.
